Infosys Public Services is seeking an Oracle Cloud HCM-Technical Architect to join our team.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Oracle Cloud HCM - Technical Architect will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Led the technical aspects of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional leads to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between the project team and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other systems by utilizing tools like Oracle Integration Cloud or other tools to facilitate data flow.
  • Lead data migration efforts, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
  • Oversee the configuration of security roles and access controls within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment to protect sensitive data.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues post-implementation.
  • Document all customizations and enhancements for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Develop user guides and technical manuals for ongoing support and reference.
  • Develop and implement custom solutions as needed to meet specific client needs.
  • Configure and optimize reporting capabilities within the Oracle HCM system to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Define testing strategies for technical components, including unit testing and system integration testing.
  • Lead integration testing efforts, ensuring that all system interfaces function correctly and meet business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and resolve technical issues during testing phases.
  • Research new technologies and methodologies that can enhance Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Develop long-term technical strategies for system enhancements, upgrades, and future integrations.
  • Mentored junior technical team members, guiding best practices and technical solutions.
  • Prepare for and participate in compliance audits, ensuring that technical implementations adhere to regulatory standards.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Over Seven years of IT experience, with at least three years dedicated to Oracle Cloud HCM technical lead role, managing technical teams, and experience on implementation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, particularly in technical implementation aspects.
  • Proven hands-on experience with integration tools like OIC and other tools
  • Understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and VBCS
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant Oracle certifications.
  • Public Sector experience.
Educational Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
