We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an OpenText Content Server Platform Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the OpenText Content Server platform along with additional expertise in various OpenText products including Archive Center, Directory Services, Brava, Blazon, Office Editor, Content Web Services, Smart UI, xECM for SAP, Web Reports Development, and Oscript Development.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to the OpenText Content Server platform.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement contingency plans to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Act as the primary technical authority for OpenText Content Server projects, providing guidance on architecture, best practices, and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements and meet performance standards.
  • Oversee the customization and integration of OpenText Content Server with other enterprise systems.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to gather requirements, provide updates, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.

Requirement Analysis and Solution Design:
  • Work closely with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.

  • Design and oversee the implementation of solutions that meet business needs while maintaining system integrity and scalability.

Quality Assurance and Documentation:
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical designs, user manuals, and support guides.
Team Management and Mentorship:
  • Lead a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, and support staff, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill Tests:
  • Plan and coordinate regular DR drill tests for the OpenText Content Server platform to ensure the effectiveness of disaster recovery procedures.
  • Evaluate the results of DR drills, identifying areas for improvement, and work with relevant teams to implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure that all project stakeholders are informed of DR test schedules and outcomes, and that documentation is updated accordingly.
Requirements:
  • The identified talent should be having an overall of 12+ years experience with OpenText xECM related hands on Development experience of 7+ years
  • Should be well versed in OpenText products and architecture
  • Should be able to analyse, size the effort and cost required to achieve the customer requirements
  • In line with the client specific objectives for this fiscal year , the identified talent should have demonstrated expertise in the below areas.
  • OpenText xECM Disaster recovery environment setup and performing successful DR Drill.
  • Document Search Performance Improvements , Customer would like to revisit search architecture and perform the necessary changes to improve search experience for the user.
  • Document Lifecycle Management - Customer having huge data/documents in the system without any retention rules/policies in place for various business units and companies/countries
  • Should possess strong communication and reporting skills and should be flexible to work in Agile or Waterfall model as prescribed by the customer
  • Should be proactive enough to analyse the existing landscape of the customer, identify redundant areas and spot areas of improvement and recommend solutions
  • Should be flexible to work on dynamic and changing priorities of the customer.
  • Should be able to stretch and work across geographies
