Infosys is seeking New Machines Introduction Specialist(CNC machine shop). This role will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and execution of the introduction of new machinery and equipment into our production processes. This role requires collaboration with various departments, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure that new machines meet operational standards and improve efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Lafayette, IN or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Min. 4 years of experience in machine introduction, manufacturing processes, or a related field. Fair knowledge over NC programming. Working experience in machine shop.
Strong knowledge of machinery operation, maintenance techniques, and production processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess machine performance and operational needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Oversee the introduction of new machines from concept to implementation, including developing project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Conduct thorough market analysis and evaluation of new machines and technologies, assessing their suitability for operational needs.
Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to identify machine specifications, operational needs, and integration strategies.
Implement testing phases for new machines, validating performance against operational requirements and quality standards.
Create and maintain detailed documentation related to machine specifications, operation manuals, maintenance schedules, and training materials.
Identify opportunities for process improvements through the implementation of new machinery, working to optimize production efficiency while reducing waste and downtime.
Ensure that all machinery is compliant with safety regulations and company policies and standards.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for new machines during the installation and initial implementation phase.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
