Role - Network Security Engineer with Firewall
Location - Sydney
Salary range: AUD 108,571- 119,893(Annual Gross)

Your role

As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required
  • Conduct all aspects of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of specific infrastructure components, implement new releases as required and investigate and install new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services to the business.
  • Provide specialised, escalated support and technical assistance and assist with the monitoring of issue resolution to ensure issues are resolved within a timely manner.
  • Assist in the design of backup and recovery procedures and plan and undertake effective Disaster Recovery and testing procedures to ensure effective Disaster Recovery plans are developed, documented, tested, and implemented.
  • Undertake problem determination and root cause analysis as directed to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented appropriately.
  • Plan, review and critique proposed changes and implement where applicable to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure changes.
  • Experience in working in Datacenter technologies.
  • Hands on experience on Data networks.
  • Hand-on Experience on Datacenter Network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.
  • Hand-on Experience on Firewall (checkpoint Juniper) Load balancer (F5, NetScaler).
  • Knowledge on routing, switching.
Preferred
  • Experience in working in Datacenter technologies.
  • Hand-on Experience on Datacenter Network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.
  • Knowledge in Routing, Switching, Infoblox, DNS, Gigamon.
  • Hand-on Experience on Firewall (checkpoint Juniper) Load balancer (F5, NetScaler).
  • Can do Network Design documentation.
  • Strong Implementation/Build capability.
