Your role
The primary purpose of the role is to lead component design and build for new and existing components working across multiple teams and roles for projects enhancements and production support and in line with industry practices. Knowledge in an Agile, SAFe development environment will be required. The team is made up of developers, testers and a shared services team to support the environments. As a .NET lead, you will be responsible for working on maintaining, developing and enhancing existing applications. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts, lead validation support for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Responsibilities
- Lead software engineering activities either at an individual level or providing designs and guidance across multiple squads comprising of up to 3-6 developers
- Drive the development of software that meets the functional and non-functional requirements of business users and taking into consideration future maintenance requirements.
- Requirement gathering, estimation and work planning
- Build new or enhance existing Java based applications on .NET suite of technologies.
- Participate in creating an implementation plan as per the project level quality plan and work on go live activities
- Respond to production issues, arrive at a solution with inputs from the stakeholders.
- Couple of years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications using .NET technologies (C#.NET, Web Services, .NET Core, MVC, lIS, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL RDBMS (Oracle, SQL server). Certification in Microsoft technologies is an added advantage
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS/Azure), containers, and container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Expertise in API & Web service development (SOAP & REST)
- Some experience on web development (Angular, HTML, JavaScript, JSP) for front-end integration
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Working Knowledge of production support, enhancements, problem solving capabilities.
- Good Analytical skills and communication skills
- Skilled with various Agile project management tools like ServiceNow and Agile framework like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
