Infosys is seeking a NC Programmer to join our client Manufacturing Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, modifying, and optimizing NC programs using Siemens NX and Vericut simulation software for various machining operations. Utilizing your technical expertise, you will collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure quality and accuracy while producing the parts in shop floor

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Lafayette, IN or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Minimum 4 years of experience in NX CAD/CAM version 2000 or greater
Experience in Vericut 9.0 or greater
Well versed in Siemens and Fanuc G&M code
Experienced with HMC, Gantry (head changer), and Multi axis machining centers

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Creo version 7 or greater (this is preferred but not a requirement)
Mill turn experience will be good to have.
Print reading skills - understand basic GD&T (Caterpillar print reading class available)
Advanced knowledge of tool application
Able to interpret tool, fixture, and NC layout drawings
Calculate cutting feeds and speeds by referencing manufactures recommendations
Able to decipher NC code written by a machine tool supplier and convert that code to NX CAD/CAM
Understanding of Renishaw probing cycles
Write probe cycles using Renishaw Inspection Plus
Experience in Part sensing
Probe features and apply offset
Probe various features and perform calculations
Understanding of probe set up and calibration (work with facility electrician)

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
