Infosys is seeking a Linux System Administrator (Azure). This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
Required Qualification:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4+ years of Information Technology experience
• At least 3 years of experience with Linux Administration and Azure Cloud administration
• At least 3 years of experience in using variety of Azure technologies (e.g. Virtual Machines, NetApp Storage, Network, Azure Automation, Azure.

• Experience in Backup and Site Recovery Services, Security) to develop and maintain an Azure based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
• Experience in Linux Administration and Troubleshooting
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
• Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
• Experience in Azure Linux operations - VM Provision, OS/Resource upgrades, Troubleshooting and best practice implementations

Preferred Qualification:
• Experience in ITIL process on incident, change, Problem management and Governance.
• Work with onsite and offshore team and manage Major incidents, Change implements and SLA management.
• Participate in the Major Incident / Bridge call during Outage and troubleshoot IaaS and PaaS related issues
• Experience in Scripting: Good scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and automation skills using Ansible and DevOps pipeline
• Experience in Virtual Machine administration for Linux OS, NetApp storage, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in PaaS services (AKS, App Services, Function App, Databricks etc.,)
• Support the PST hours and work as a team member
• Flexibility and Lust to learn attitude
• Having Healthcare domain knowledge
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Work on proactive problem management and the capacity management to avoid incidents
• Recover/Build VM and automation to solve customer problems. You will also work and scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities.
