Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP ILM Archiving Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

- At least 7 years of experience in SAP Archiving Expert with strong experience in SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) to join our team.
- As an SAP Archiving Expert, you will be responsible for managing the archiving process, ensuring efficient data management across SAP systems, and implementing solutions that align with SAP ILM principles. Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing our system performance, improving data retention policies, and reducing costs related to data storage.
- Design, implement, and manage SAP archiving and data retention strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Work with SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) solutions to streamline and automate the management of data lifecycle from creation to archiving and deletion.
- Analyze current archiving processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure data archiving is aligned with business processes and requirements.
- Implement and monitor data archiving policies and retention schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve archiving and ILM-related issues, ensuring smooth system performance.
- Perform regular health checks and audits of SAP systems to ensure data is properly archived and compliant.
- Conduct training and provide support to users regarding archiving processes and ILM best practices.
- Work closely with other SAP technical teams (Basis, Security, etc.) for system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience working with SAP Archiving and SAP ILM in a functional or technical role.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP data management processes, including data archiving, retention, and deletion.
- Strong experience with configuring and managing SAP Archiving objects, ArchiveLink, and ILM policies.
- Understanding of S/4HANA, and other SAP systems.
- Proficient in SAP ILM configuration and management, including data lifecycle management and information governance.
- Familiarity with SAP solutions for document management (ArchiveLink, Document Info Records, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SAP HANA or other database platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage cross-functional projects effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
