Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP EWM Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
- This position is based in Houston, TX. The Position may require travel and/or relocation.

- At leats 7 years of experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- Experience with minimum of 2 full cycle implementations of SAP EWM.
- Good understanding of Warehouse operational functions and business processes.
- Strong exposure of SAP EWM Outbound, Inbound, and Internal processes with VAS, and, Wave Management, Posting Changes,
- Inventory management with EWM - Goods receipt, Goods issue Put away bin determination, Pick Rule, WOCR, Internal routing, Deconsolidation, Quality Inspections, POSC
- S/4 Embedded Extended Warehouse management - cycle counting, physical inventory, special inventory handling, stock transfer, reservations, transfer posting,
- Advanced returns management, Cross Docking, RFID enablement, PPF based action, Transportation Unit, yard Management.
- Experience in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Organizational Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP ERP with SAP EWM
- Should hold a certification in EWM.
- Candidate should work from Houston office minimum thrice a week.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 and L3 support to
- Triage customer incidents and service requests
- Perform analysis and provide resolution to user including configuration, data updates, work arounds
- Perform problem management for recurring incidents
- Identify improvement idea.
- Follow ITIL processes to provide support to the business as per agreed SLAs
- Deliver enhancements
- Provide thought leadership to provide best practices and solutions for business requirements
- Analyzing business requirements
- Estimate and size the enhancements
- Providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs
- Performing necessary SAP configuration
- Creating specifications for development of custom programs,
- Testing the developed solution
- Coordinate with other teams to support the deployment
- Mentor and manage teams
- Mentor team members to deliver the scope of work.
- Coordinate with team across multiple geographies to ensure efficient delivery
