Your role

In the role of a Lead Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct workshops to analyze & capture client requirements and their pain areas.
  • Work with customer to get requirement clarification and user sign-off on key changes.
  • Perform high level fit-gap analysis, process changes and perform benchmark studies.
  • Prepare and review workload estimation.
  • Identify the risks and prepare mitigation plan.
  • Manage a team of consultants to prepare solution options & present the recommendations to the customer.
  • Review the solution options developed by the team and suggest improvements to get customer buy-in.
  • Plan the activities for configuration and development with project manager, work with product vendors to resolve product issues.
  • Perform tests along with the team to gauge the quality and take corrective actions.
  • Review test plans, test cases, execution reports and verify nonfunctional requirement of the system.
  • Help the team in debugging and resolving issues.
  • Develop/review of deployment plan, review sequencing of activities for functional technical dependencies.
  • Develop/review cutover and contingency plan and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Prepare content and participate in training of key users on new system/process.
  • Study as-is process and work with customer to develop knowledge management repository.
  • Take control of critical/escalated issues and resolve those with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Create knowledge and share and drive the usage of knowledge bases with extended teams through structured forums.
  • Should be a key contributor in unit & organizational level initiatives with an objective of providing high-quality, value-adding consulting solutions to customers adhering to the guidelines and processes of the organization.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends.
Required
  • Minimum 12 years of experience with specialized knowledge in financial modules (General Ledger, Payables, Payments, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Sub Ledger Accounting, Cash Management, AGIS, Expenses, EBS-Tax etc.) processes of Oracle EBS R11 & R12 suite.
  • Worked on at least 2-4 end-to-end Oracle EBS suite (R11 or R12) financials implementation with hands-on configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle EBS.
  • Expert in Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Proficiency in IFRS & EMEA taxations.
  • Worked in global delivery and fast paced environment.
  • Experience of leading project work streams and working autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, good in articulating the findings & recommendations from analysis.
Preferred
  • Understanding of Digital Services & Printing Industry.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Proficient in European languages are added advantage.
