Currently, we are looking for a Labor Project Manager to join IPS.

Position Description (brief narrative):
The Project Manager will provide oversight for large Labor system implementations and projects, such as Unemployment Insurance (UI) Tax, Benefits, and Appeals, Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML), Workforce, Disability, or Industrial Affairs.

This position will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment focused on ensuring the project team provides quality services within time and budget for our clients.

Scope of Work:
• Managing software implementations from contract execution to post-production, to ensure successful completion on time and within budget.
• Developing the project schedule, detailed work plans, project estimates, and resource plans including the determination and acquisition of needed resources.
• Supporting the project team to ensure deliverables are deployed with the highest quality standards on time.
• Communicating project status internally, to the project team, and externally with the customer and any other involved parties regularly.
• Managing work team activities, risks, and commitments within the constraints of time, cost, and quality while maintaining an intense focus on customer satisfaction.
• Conducting meetings with project teams and vendors as needed.
• Working collaboratively with internal resources to ensure we meet/exceed productivity targets.
• Ensuring the successful completion of the project on schedule and within budget.

Required Skills:
• 7+ years of project management experience.
• Project management experience with large system implementations.
• PMP Certified.
• Structured and process-driven mindset to drive and lead change with good influencing skills.
• A strong desire to achieve customer satisfaction and service standards.
• Excellent client/relationship skills - with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be comfortable and confident presenting to and meeting with client C-Level leadership.

Preferred Skills:
• Project management experience with commercial software development.
• Labor, such as Unemployment Insurance (UI) Tax, Benefits, and Appeals, Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML), Workforce, Disability, or Industrial Affairs related products experience.
• Salesforce experience.
• Be flexible to meet with resources in varying time zones outside of normal work hours.
Travel to client site (up to 50%) but may be higher or lower based on the client engagement.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
