Infosys is seeking a Kubernetes Architect. This candidate will be a key player to help discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Seattle, WA or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At Least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years in Linux and Kubernetes.
  • Design and implement Kubernetes platform, on-premises, including compute, network, load balancer, storage etc as per application requirements.
  • Experience in Kubernetes Platform and worked in implementing and managing OpenShift Platform on Bare Metal.
  • Experience in integrating Enterprise storage solution with Kubernetes Platform through CSI driver.
  • Experience in Setting up and managing container working.
  • Implementing and managing Container registry, platform monitoring, logging and C/CD solution.
  • Experience in container security.
  • Responsible for day 2 platform support and on call support in off business hours.
  • Manage SRE and support activities on 24x7 shifts.

  • Familiarity with Spectro Cloud Kubernetes solution will be a big advantage
  • knowledge in managing private docker/image repositories (Quay, Nexus, JFrog, etc...)
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Have good knowledge on Troubleshooting and providing speedy solution in case of failure of the database.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. The job entails extensive amount of travel.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
