Junior Automation Tester

Job position: Junior Automation Tester
Location: Krakow (hybrid work 2-3 days per week in office )

Please note: for this role we cannot consider candidates who require company support to legally live and work in Poland

Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Regularly update and maintain existing test suites to ensure they are current and accurate.
• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.
• Investigate and analyze test failures to identify root causes and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Generate comprehensive test reports using tools like TestNG, JUnit, and reporting frameworks (e.g., Extent Reports).
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in Java, Selenium, and testing methodologies.
• Analyze requirements and identify suitable test cases for automation.
• Optimize test execution time and improve test efficiency by identifying and implementing performance improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience on similar job position is a must
• Strong experience on Automation testing using Selenium, Java, BDD-Cucumber and DevOps, with hands-on experience towards developing the frameworks.
• Strong coding skill with Core Java is mandatory.
• API Testing with Rest Assured; Contract Testing experience with Pact is highly desirable.
• Good experience in Test Planning, Test case preparation, Test execution and Reporting
• Good knowledge of Agile based concepts
• Good experience in Test Management Tools using JIRA/Other tools
• Excellent communication and coordination capabilities

Preferred:

• Exposure to multiple tools and technologies like Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, Robot, Karate
