Short Description

Infosys is looking for Java Developers in Hong Kong.

Good knowledge of SQL and Unix are necessary. L3 support experience will be an added advantage . The suitable candidates will be placed directly at the client site to initially shadow the technical lead from client to learn about the existing applications and the associated business logic behind, and to eventually own and maintain the overall set of applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

Build capability development

Provide L3 support

Apply software engineering concepts to address operational challenges by automating processes and improving system stability

Apply and promote industry best practices for site reliability engineering where applicable

Coordinate with internal and external teams for production development and support

Supervise and mentor junior developers in the team

Balance strategic and tactical considerations in meeting business objectives

Skills /Competencies

ESSENTIAL

Engineering Bachelors or master's degree level or equivalent.

4+ years' experience in IT.

PREFERRED

Technology skills - Java, SQL, Unix

Support + development Experience

Good Programming Skills

Analytical and Problem-Solving skills

ADDITIONAL

• Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and technical writing skills.
