Infosys is seeking a Java Production Support Engineer
In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the software development Life Cycle. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition, and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in OOPS and Java Production Support.

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in production support with Java based applications.
  • Experience in spring,OOPS, webservices.
  • Experience with ITIL, incident/problem/event management, release/deployment, operational readiness.
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Experience with monitoring tools - Splunk or datadog or Newrelic.
  • Experience on change management, incident management, release management, problem management and request management process.
  • Experience with one or more of the following AppDynamics, Introscope, Dynatrace, Scripting in Bash and/ or Powershell.
  • Experience in software development life cycle.
  • Experience in Banking domain-Payments.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
