Infosys is seeking a Java Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. You will play an important role in high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, participate in validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located in Charlotte, NC/ Kennesaw, GA/Pennington, Jersey City, NJ/Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the location. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Should actively participate in communication with business stakeholders and participate in all SDLC lifecycles
  • Understanding of Digital Service and Customer Experience
  • Should be capable of reviewing the work done by other team members and guide them in complex issues
  • Should have basic knowledge related to Agile methodology
  • At least 3 years of experience with Java/J2EE & 3 years of experience in Spring boot, Micro Services
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle
  • Experience in Designing the modules and interfaces
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture
  • Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on Java/J2EE technologies
  • Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
  • Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Spring MVC, Spring Boot)
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
  • Ability to design and develop code components independently as per client requirements
  • Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java/Spring Boot/Micro-service Applications
  • Analyze business requirements, and create technical design documents that are in accordance with the company's architecture standards
  • Supporting the execution of this program ensuring quality delivery of digital artifacts in alignment with client's ecommerce roadmap
  • Interact with tech lead to understand technology direction/changes, standards, and best practices
  • Experience working with coordination of multiple teams
  • Participate in discussions with customer as needed and articulate the value delivered by proposed technical solution

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
