Job Summary: The SAP Program Manager for S/4HANA Implementation is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the SAP S/4HANA program, ensuring that all projects within the program are aligned with the company's strategic goals and delivered on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards. This role will manage multiple teams and coordinate across various business functions to ensure the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, fostering collaboration among stakeholders and minimizing risks.

Salary: AUD ( 199,594 - 208,064) Annual Gross

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Leadership and Governance:
    • Lead and manage the SAP S/4HANA program, overseeing all related projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
    • Define the overall program strategy, structure, and roadmap, ensuring the integration of various functional areas (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) into a cohesive SAP S/4HANA solution.
    • Establish governance processes and frameworks to ensure that all projects within the program are effectively managed, tracked, and delivered.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and key stakeholders for the SAP S/4HANA program.
    • Facilitate communication between business leaders, IT teams, third-party vendors, and consultants to ensure all program objectives are clearly understood and agreed upon.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring their needs are met while mitigating project risks and resolving conflicts that arise.
  • Program Planning and Execution:
    • Develop a comprehensive program plan, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring a structured and timely approach to the S/4HANA implementation.
    • Coordinate and oversee the execution of various individual projects within the program, ensuring that interdependencies are managed effectively.
    • Monitor and track the progress of the program, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary.
    • Ensure that issues are resolved promptly and communicated effectively to stakeholders to avoid delays or disruptions.
    • Proactively monitor risk areas and implement controls to keep the program on track.
  • Financial and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring that all projects within the program are delivered within allocated financial resources.
    • Track program costs, ensuring that the program is delivered within budget while meeting business objectives.
    • Ensure that the program has adequate resources, including skilled personnel and external vendors, to deliver on time.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor a cross-functional program team, including project managers, business analysts, technical experts, and consultants.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships across different business and IT departments to foster collaboration and support.
    • Ensure effective resource allocation and that team members have the support and training needed to perform successfully.
  • Change Management:
    • Develop and implement a change management strategy for the SAP S/4HANA program, ensuring smooth transitions as new systems and processes are introduced.
    • Work with the change management team to prepare employees for the changes and ensure user adoption.
    • Ensure that any resistance to change is addressed in a timely manner, and that users are adequately trained and supported throughout the transition.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee the quality management process, ensuring that the program and its projects meet defined quality standards and business requirements.
    • Ensure thorough testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate that the SAP S/4HANA solution meets business needs.
    • Monitor performance and post-implementation support to ensure the ongoing success and optimization of the system.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Provide regular program status updates to senior management, reporting on progress, risks, issues, and successes.
    • Ensure that all program documentation is maintained and that stakeholders are kept informed about the program's progress.
    • Develop and present comprehensive reports, highlighting key program achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for further enhancements and optimizations within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
    • Gather feedback and lessons learned to refine future implementation approaches and improve the overall effectiveness of the program.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
    • Experience:
      • At least 10+ years of experience in managing SAP implementations, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior program management role, specifically for SAP S/4HANA.
      • Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams through complex SAP transformations.
      • Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules, and implementation processes across multiple business functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile is a plus).
    • Technical Skills:
      • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, functionality, and modules.
      • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration with other business systems and platforms.
      • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
    • Leadership and Soft Skills:
      • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
      • Ability to manage complex program dynamics, including cross-functional teams, competing priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
      • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
      • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
    • Certifications:
      • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
      • SAP S/4HANA or other relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
    Working Conditions:
    • This position may involve occasional travel depending on the program requirements.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
