IBM OMS Project Manager

Brentwood, TN

Infosys is seeking a IBM OMS Project Manager. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • U.S. citizens or those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Brentwood, TN USA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

  • At least 12 years of experience in IT industry and major part of the experience should be as Project Manager position in OMS implementation projects.
  • Experience in IBM Sterling OMS
  • Experience in Leading team of OMS technical team in Design, Build and Testing
  • Experience in understanding tools like Jira, HPQC, Project Management
  • Experience in Leading the project on end-to-end OMS to new implementations to rollouts.
  • Experience in knowledge of GitHub
  • Experience in Work closely with different stakeholders and portfolio leads, business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements / problem statements.
  • Experience in Daily/Weekly reporting of status and execution metrics highlighting risk/issues/blockers with mitigation plan.
  • Experience in Works together with various vendor partners for the template design considering best practices, high usage of standard functionality, repeatability with efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
