Infosys is seeking for an Industry Principal and in this role, you work with key client stakeholders, and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the product Development including Strategize, Define Product Roadmap, lead Product discussions, guide and review Release Plans, Lead Innovation and Market Analysis, Consolidate Product ideas, identify potential partners in both Product and Technology landscape, collaborate with Marketing Department to create Product collaterals, review Product documents, measure and track Product adoption and user feedback, contribute to Brand enhancement with an objective to ensure value visibility of products amongst customers WITHIN guidelines and norms of Infosys. You will play an important role in engaging with Business Stakeholders and Leadership, Support creation of Business Case for Products, Support Marketing team with Inputs on Product, Support Definition, Tracking and presenting Business KPI to Executive Board. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be open to travel to Montreal / Toronto, Canada for at least 2 weeks in a month, or be willing to relocate to Montreal, Canada. This position may require travel in the US as well
  • At least 13 years of Experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in Product Development.
  • Knowledge of domain & product - product life cycle, product positioning & trends in the respective Logistics area, especially in Railway Freight, awareness of software product landscape in the products domain.
  • Deep expertise in Product Development in Agile or SAFe environment along with ability to understand product roadmap and recommend priorities with respect to business strategy and market analysis.
  • Liaison product teams to articulate user stories clearly for development, identify dependencies, guide User Experience, understand Technology solutions, identify need for PoCs and MVPs.
  • Ability to walk the Development Team and Architects through the business need and feature details and to test product against requirements and vision.
  • Prior experience to conduct User Training and collect User Feedback to analyze and leverage for product enhancements as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15+ Years of experience in Product Development.
  • Good understanding of Logistics domain specially Rail Freight.
  • Experience in emerging trends in user facing product attributes such as usability (UI, Configuration files, command line parameters, etc.) and integration.
  • Excellent understanding of corporate policies, practices, and organizations, Strong understanding of various international practices / processes related to respective domain.
  • Knowledge on global markets, specific technology areas related to business, technology innovations around the globe.
  • Effective communication with client leadership and teams Head - Product Delivery, Principal Product Strategy, Product Analysts, Product Technical Architects, Product Managers, User Experience Team, Marketing, Sales, ILI, Legal.
  • Engagement with external stakeholders as Analysts, Alliance Partners, Prospects, Research Organizations, Industry Bodies, Consulting Firms, Regulators, Product Forums.
  • Must have good working presales experience, business process consulting mindset, Program Management coordination, Talent Management and providing Thought Leadership.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
