Short Description:
Infosys is seeking a Group Manager - Client Services to support, lead and grow our business within an existing large account in our Financial Services business.

This is a leadership role within an existing Account team and will focus primarily on winning large, strategic opportunities within a strategic account. The leader would be accountable to manage 150-200M AUD portfolio and would have a team of 3-4 manager/ Associate manager client services. They would be expected to manage Sr. client relationships independently including relationships with commercial / procurement and Business leadership. They should be able to handle independently Account initiatives across the whole account ( 300M AIUD or more size) like executive governance, across team initiatives and strategy implementation etc.

The role will support and, in some instances, lead the preparation and execution of the Account Strategy & Plan, generate and review Sales Plan/pipelines, support and review proposal preparation and take accountability for outcomes, around winning new deals and growing the Infosys footprint within the account.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Identify and drive large and strategic opportunities within the account for net new business: Work on proactive and strategic deals, focus on opening new buying centres in the account.
  • Proactively work with clients to shape strategic / large deals in new & existing areas within the strategic account.
  • Drive higher penetration of Infosys Services within the account: Establish and execute sales origination process in collaboration with the Service Line partners and broader account team.
  • As part of RFP responses or proactive proposals, create differentiated value proposition and drive the identified sales opportunities to closure.
  • Develop and execute focussed campaigns within the account aligned to Infosys priorities (e.g. GenAI) and client needs.
  • Commercial shaping of opportunities and business negotiations while establishing partnerships to support client needs.
  • Engage with the relevant internal Infosys teams (Legal, Finance and other support functions) and Service Lines team for developing solutions.
  • Be the escalation point and, if needed, also directly handle risks and issues related to the accounts.
  • Identify and engage with Alliance partners and product vendors, as needed, to craft end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs.

Skill/Experience Requirements:
You will bring senior-level experience in client-facing roles or account management leadership roles along with experience in managing large & varied business portfolio.
End-to-end Account ownership including Account forecasting, budgeting, operations and overall P&L.

Required skills
  • Strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
  • Track record of interacting and building relationships with Head-offs/Directors/General Manager/CXO-level client contacts and client relationship management.
  • Significant business development, program management/consulting experience.
  • Experience in Technology Consulting & client engagement in a Global Delivery Model within Banking and Financial Services sector.
  • Can position industry insights as they pertain to client needs & requirements.
  • Deeply understand client's business challenges and provide thought leadership in addressing these issues.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
  • Commercially savvy and understands contracts, MSA , multiple pricing models, negotiations.
  • Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions.
  • Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams.
  • Experience of working with Legal, Finance and other support functions in large organisations.
