Infosys is seeking a GIS Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or Calgary, AB or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in GIS analysis/ development / programming with (SDLC) full life cycle development on ESRI tools like ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS online, Survey 123, ArcGIS for Server.
  • Experience in creating and analyses maps, cleaning and updating spatial data using ArcGIS for Desktop 10.x and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Should be able to perform the design, build, test and deploy solution on ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcFM Suite, ArcGIS Server (REST API, custom Widgets), ArcGIS Online, Python ((ArcPy, Pandas, NumPy), GitHubWeb, App Builder and ArcGIS Mobile.
  • Experience in GIS based web application development using .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
  • Candidate should have experience of playing a Lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric/Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms.
  • Experience in Agile way of working (Scrum), JIRA & Confluence tools Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical design, development, and deployment experience in GIS.
  • Should be familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry.
  • Should be able to resolve issues related to the development.
  • Should be able to design the forms, workflows and portlets, integration with the required systems. Mobile platform development is an added advantage.
  • Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.
  • The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings with the client and provide daily updates. Should work with onsite/offshore leads to provide the deliverables on time.
  • Candidate should possess Good Communication and Client interfacing skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Ability to extend support in PST hours.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 115491
