Job Description

This role is to support New Power Generation Units and Power Services Plant Engineering with preparation of technical documentation dedicated to Generator Accessories for Steam Power Plant projects such as Conversion, Modification & Upgrades of Steam Power Plants, covering OTR (project execution) and ITO support (offering). Assistance to Lead Engineer in project execution throughout all project phases, ensure on-time delivery and good quality of provided documents. Close cooperation with other internal and external engineering teams in this field.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Sizing of Generator Accessory Systems and System Components by using dedicated tools.
  • Preparation of basic and detailed documentation of the System.
  • Creation of general arrangement drawings, P&ID's, and associated documents.
  • Contact with suppliers and manufacturers of equipment to select, verify, and document their products, that are most fitted to the project needs.
  • Dealing with interface documentation to other disciplines such as I&C, Piping and Arrangement, Civil Engineering.
  • Responding to Engineering Requests from various projects.
  • Clarification of open items/deviations with the PEM, Project Engineering Team, and Customer.
  • Remote site support and technical assistance during erection and commissioning.
  • Active participation in the design reviews and project technical meetings and conscientious execution of defined actions and tasks.

  • Good experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office software.
  • Siemens NX (will be an advantage).
  • General knowledge of Power Plant processes & systems.
  • General knowledge in physics, fluid mechanics and industrial mechanical equipment, especially in power generation industry.
  • ATEX Standards knowledge (will be an advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to assess situations and make decisions based on sound engineering practices, or previous experience.
  • Ability to cooperate effectively within global engineering/project execution organization and external partners.
  • Effectiveness in managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for innovative solutions, cost-out actions, and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Generator Auxiliary systems: Seal Oil System, Hydrogen System, Stator Cooling Water System
