Infosys is seeking a Enterprise Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 13 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect / Senior Solution Architect involved in strategizing solutions within Railroad / Logistics companies or service integration firms
  • 13+ years of experience with applications, data and cloud.
  • 10+ years of experience as an Architect with application, technology architecture covering Applications, APIs, Microservices, Systems Integration and Distributed Computing.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as Senior Architect using Mobile, Microservices and Cloud technologies.
  • A strong business acumen and strategic mindset with in-depth understanding in Architecture, Strategy development, Cloud, and modern technologies
  • Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban) development lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Create systems architectures and modernization strategies; moving to cloud native, mobile applications, APIs, Microservices, Integrations and Data Lake with target and transitions architectures and Roadmaps over multiple years.
  • Define architecture and engineering standards, patterns & best practices.
  • Bring in Innovation and demonstrate thought leadership in interactions with client and in proposals submitted.
  • Be a leader in the innovation group, fostering a culture of design thinking, brainstorming, efficiency, and balancing vision with practicality.
  • Engage with delivery teams during application development & implementation, ensuring they meet client expectations in delivering value.
  • Stay up to date on the latest software trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.
  • Partner with Account Sales teams to develop and present Strategic solutions that align with client needs and business objectives; identify and develop new business opportunities within the account.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
