Infosys is seeking a Database Lead - In this role, you will be involved in maintaining the databases like Oracle, Postgres etc., mainly Postgres (relational databases). Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology and DBA role.
• Experience of working in Agile/Waterfall model
• Experience in Database Administration role
Preferred Qualifications:
• The PostgreSQL DBA role involves the following responsibilities:
• Working closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless database operations and optimal performance.
• Designing and implementing database systems.
• Monitoring and optimizing performance.
• Ensuring data integrity and security.
• Capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, troubleshooting, backup, and data recovery.
• Should have some experience in PL/SQL programming.
• Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• This position would require extensive travel as per project needs.
