SHORT DESCRIPTION:
We are embarking on a large-scale transformation journey, migrating from SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud, while also consolidating data from over 80+ non-SAP applications into Oracle Cloud. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Migration Manager to lead this critical migration effort, ensuring seamless data transition, accuracy, and compliance. This role will play a pivotal part in the successful implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud and the broader transformation program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy and roadmap for the SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation.
- Oversee the migration of data from SAP and 80+ non-SAP applications to Oracle Cloud, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and accuracy.
- Lead end-to-end data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle consultants, to define data requirements and resolve migration challenges.
- Establish and monitor data migration timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct data reconciliation and validation activities to ensure successful migration outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the data migration team, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Report on progress, issues, and results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., ETL tools, data validation frameworks).
- In-depth understanding of SAP and Oracle Fusion Cloud data structures, processes, and integration points.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex data migration projects, preferably in ERP transformations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in data migration, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Experience in SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud data migration projects is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or Oracle Data Integrator).
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
- Proven track record of successful delivery of complex data migration initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
