Infosys is seeking a Data Governance Senior Consultant. In this role, you will work directly with the clients to facilitate and lead the data governance program which will include metadata management, data catalog, data quality, process/workflow definition implementation across different verticals. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Richmond, VA or Princeton, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  • US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. we are unable to sponsor at this time.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in SQL, data warehousing and ETL concepts to develop and maintain automated APIs and ETL pipelines that support DG tools
  • At least 2 years of experience in tactical implementation of data governance (DG).
  • At least 6 months of experience in Data Privacy.
  • At least 2 years of experience on Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Quality tools like Collibra, Manta, data warehousing technology and RDBMS

  • Basic Understanding of programming languages like Python and Java
  • Expert knowledge of Data Governance Processes, Policies & Framework
  • Experience in conducting unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills
  • Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.
  • Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
  • Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
  • knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting
  • Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
  • Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
