Data Engineer - Ingeniero de datos

In the role of Data Engineer, you will design and develop APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, build and maintain scalable data pipelines leveraging Databricks and Data Lake (if available), collaborate with cross functional teams to design backend systems, optimize performance and scalability of data solutions, deploy and maintain data services on AWS platforms (if applicable).

Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City, Gdl and Mty preferably) . Hybrid mode 2 or 3 days per week at office
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology .
  • Good communication skills + English Level.
  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, and Golang.
  • Experience in API development and data processing workflows.
  • Familiarity with backend systems integration and optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as Scrum is required.
Good to have:
  • Exposure to Databricks, Data Lake, and AWS is an advantage.
Other Relevant Experience:
  • Proven experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • Deep understanding of full stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architecture.
  • Ability to work with a dynamic team in a collaborative way.
