Databricks -- Data Engineer - Ingeniero de datos

In the role of Data Engineer, you will build and maintain scalable data pipelines leveraging Databricks and Data Lake (if available), collaborate with cross functional teams to design backend systems, optimize performance and scalability of data solutions, deploy and maintain data services on AWS platforms (if applicable).

Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City, GDL and MTY preferable) .
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology .
• Good communication skills + English Level.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Skillsets:

• Databricks experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Spark.
• Experience in API development and data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with backend systems integration and optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have:

• Exposure Data Lake and AWS is an advantage.

Other Relevant Experience:

• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as Scrum is required.
• Proven experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Deep understanding of full stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architecture.
• Ability to work with a dynamic team in a collaborative way.
