As D365 F&O SCM Principal Consultant, you will be part of a team that is customer obsessed - you will work on features that respond to customer needs and make data-driven decisions. Develop software that empowers customers to optimize their business processes by designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining our software components and services

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration:
Lead the implementation of D365 F&O SCM modules.
Configure the system to meet client requirements.
Customize workflows and processes within the SCM module.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Work with clients to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Solution Design:
Design solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
Develop functional specifications for customizations and integrations.
Testing and Support:
Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
Training and Documentation:
Train end-users on the functionalities of the SCM module.
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in D365 F&O SCM modules.
Product Information Management: Ability to configure and manage product information, including product categories, attributes, and variants.
Inventory Management: Skills in managing inventory levels, tracking inventory transactions, and setting up inventory journals.
Warehouse Management: Proficiency in configuring and managing warehouse operations, including location directives, work templates, and wave processing.
Procurement and Sourcing: Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and purchase order processing.
Sales and Marketing: Understanding of sales order processing, customer management, and sales agreements.
Master Planning: Ability to configure and manage master planning processes, including demand forecasting and supply planning.
Transportation Management: Skills in managing transportation operations, including routing, load planning, and freight reconciliation.
Asset Management: Proficiency in managing assets, maintenance schedules, and work orders.
Experience with ERP implementation methodologies.
Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and reporting tools.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to analyze and map business processes.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present solutions and conduct training sessions.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in implementing and supporting D365 F&O or similar ERP systems.
Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.
Certifications:
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate are highly valued

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
