Your role
In the role of Senior Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of Data Solutions Life Cycle including strategy & roadmap, architecture definition, design, implementation, and operations. You will play an important role in defining data strategy, solutions/tools strategy, and architecture directions with clients for building/modernizing Digital solutions powered by Data and AI. You will also do technical feasibility and identify innovative ways to help clients derive value from their data investments. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore.

Key Responsibilities
• Architecting and designing End-to-End Enterprise scale BI and Analytics solutions.
• Supporting pre-sales and proposals as a Solution architect
• Advising clients to optimize technical design, operations, and cloud/tools costs.
• Acting as a technology bridge between client and Infosys global teams/COE's.
• Guiding/mentoring delivery teams for architecture, design, performance tuning, code optimization, and technical troubleshooting
• Continuously innovating and bringing new ideas and/or Infosys solutions to clients
• Demonstrating thought leadership externally through presentations, webinars, blogs, whitepapers, etc.
• Supporting internal practice initiatives and activities from time-to-time

Required
• Experience in architecting Data Engineering space on Scala & Spark + Azure.
• Strong Data analysis and Data Modelling skills
• Experience in data migration and cloud modernization from legacy/on-premise platforms
• Creating solution roadmap, including tools & automation, for data and code migration from legacy data & ETL to modern cloud architecture.
• Experience in supporting pre-sales and proposals as a Solution architect: Estimation, Sizing, Solution evaluation and recommendation, Client presentation, etc.
• Ability to evaluate between various native, third-party and open-source components/services, and propose the right architecture for client needs

Core Technology skills with deep knowledge / hands-on experience in:
• Azure Data platform (SQL DWH, Synapse, Fabric), ETL/ELT services, and Analytics services
• Expertise in Scala
• DBT, Spark, and Kafka
• Any ETL/ELT and BI tools
• Strong programming background including SQL and Python

Preferred
• Data & code migration tools and automation
• Infrastructure, networking and security components Azure
• Performance engineering, scalability and other NFR's
• CI / CD, Configuration management, Cloud automation tools
• Cloud operations, Monitoring, Data Ops, FinOps
• Advanced analytics, ML, AI tools/technologies, ML Ops
• Data Mesh architecture, Data Fabric, Data Virtualization
