EdgeVerve is hiring an Associate Vice President (AVP) to lead and drive business growth for our Financial Service, Hi Tech, Energy,CPG, Retail and Logistics industry segment.
You will be responsible for growing net new business and developing a strategic account pipeline. This senior leadership role requires a deep understanding of the market and competition to develop and execute effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who actively helps the team develop value propositions based on a thorough understanding of opportunity.

Experience range

15+ years of experience in direct sales of multiple software products and services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve TCV, Revenue, and Deal Margin targets.
  • Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and oversee marketing campaigns for EdgeVerve platforms/suite of products in the Financial Services, Health Care, Energy, Hi- Tech, CPG, Retail, and Logistics industry segments.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for EdgeVerve's suite of products and services, managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key enterprise accounts, driving net new business and renewals.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Represent EdgeVerve at industry events and conferences to promote the AI Next platform and build a strong network.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in driving enterprise accounts with a focus on growth and expansion.
  • Extensive experience selling AI, document digitization, and digital solutions (especially in AI, cloud, and managed services).
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with a focus on TCV or revenue-based metrics.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships with 'C' or VP level business users to articulate business value and influence strategic application of EdgeVerve products.
  • Expertise in Competitor Mapping and SWOT Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Develop strategies to leverage EdgeVerve's strengths and address competitive challenges.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data mining technologies to conduct effective conversations with IT decision-makers.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
