Short Description:
AVEVA PI Consultant is responsible for developing AVEVA PI Historian solutions in Mining industry. Configuring, Implementing, and troubleshooting AVEVA PI Historian systems such as PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Alerts & Notifications, PI Analytics, PI Vision, PI OPC (Server and Interfaces), PI Data Link, AFSDK, PIOLEDB Enterprise, PISMT etc.
A candidate with have experience with capturing business requirements and then translate them to solution designing. Should have troubleshooting and analytical skills and have experience in the Migration of large-scale legacy historians to AVEVA PI historian. Should have working experience of converting the business processes / systems to AF models. Help translate a wide variety of client needs/requirements into detailed proposals and project plans to meet project's requirements.

Salary Range: 108,571- 119,893 AUD Total Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work in client-facing roles to contribute towards the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex and large-scale technology solutions.
- Hands-on Experience: On PI System development & implementation (e.g. PI System2018 - PI Data Archive - Asset Framework (AF) and Asset Analytics - PI High Availability - PI Vision - Interfaces- Modbus, OPC, RDBMS, PI to PI, HTML, Perf Mon - PI Universal File, Loader (UFL) - PI Manual Logger - PI Datalink - VBA / SDK Based Custom code)
- Ability to create complex AF hierarchies, implement and troubleshoot analytics-based calculations including event frames and roll ups based on Business requirements.
- Awareness and knowledge on Mining industry best-practices & standards would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal assistance.
ESSENTIAL
- 8+ years of relevant experience in AVEVA PI and experience in Mining or any other resources sector.
- Experience in supporting AVEVA PI historian for large industries.
- Strong knowledge in architecting the historian migration projects.
- Proven track record / experience in:
- PI DA, PI AF, PI Analytics, PI Vision, PI Data Link, AFSDK / PISDK
- VBA - Excel Reports
- .NET - C# Based AFSDK / PISDK Programming
- Demonstration of success as independent worker
- Should have good troubleshooting skills to work on apps with medium/complex architecture.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and frequently changing priorities.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Good to have Mining industry experience or experience in resource sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to the project/application stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills using a methodical approach.
