Short Description:
Infosys is looking for an enthusiastic and seasoned individual, brimming with fresh ideas, to join the core PR & Communications team at Infosys. We are a small, critically important, and strategic team, constantly looking for newer and impactful ways of storytelling to create resonance for Infosys and our stakeholders across markets.

This individual contributor role reports to the Global PR & Communications Head. The chosen candidate will work closely with key stakeholders at Infosys, including unit heads, and the marketing and sales ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:

PR/Media Strategy and Engagement
  • Conceptualize and execute strategic PR and Communications plans that deliver on brand and business goals.
  • Align with the vision and purpose of Infosys and drive narratives deep into the region.
  • Manage end-to-end PR activities - strategic campaigns, press events & releases, research reports.
  • Monitor brand landscape for potential issues and work closely with the leadership and communications team to develop crisis communication plans, draft statements, reputation management.
  • Maintain and manage effective campaign budgets and effectively manage agency relationships.
  • Drive evaluation processes, execution, and KPIs on key campaigns.
  • Coordinate the activities of PR agencies and ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Have a finger on the pulse of the media industry and landscape and be able to identify strategic PR opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent contacts with media in the region, and constantly seek new opportunities to grow our network.
Position Requirements

Education
  • Degree-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or equivalent with strong content and communications skills
Mandatory Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in public relations, marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of the IT & Services industry with experience/network within the Media industry.
  • Excellent content development and presentation skills along with identifying news pegs and must be good at storytelling.
  • Experienced in the business use of social media channels.
  • Deep understanding of numbers, ability to use analytics tools, ability to create unique dashboards (data mining), and comfortable using MS Excel.
  • Must be able to manage and execute multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Requires ability to work in a cross-cultural/global environment and willingness to travel.
  • Able to work confidently in a hybrid team environment.
Additional skills:
  • Any experience working with a PR Agency/media will be an added advantage.
