Short Description :
Infosys New Zealand is looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to join their business and be part of a fun, supportive and collaborative team. Reporting to the Australia & New Zealand HR Manager, this role is based in Auckland, New Zealand. As part of a close-knit HR team, you will be responsible for the employees across New Zealand and provide support across a range of HR activities while also having the opportunity to be involved in a variety of HR projects across the region.

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Years of EXP: 3 to 4 years of HR experience (HR Generalist)

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities for new employee inductions - work closely with the business / operations team to ensure that the onboarding programme meets business and individual needs
  • Execute and support unit specific performance management framework and initiatives including program management of appraisal cycles and employee review process. Conduct training sessions for managers on the performance management and development program
  • Work closely with the senior business stakeholders with the ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Conceptualize, design and deploy Rewards & Recognition program for the location
  • End-to-end HR process management including HRIS maintenance, Employee Life Cycle Management including exit interviews and analytics, talent enablement and engagement.
  • Support and Co-ordinate with HR Lead on closure of employee issues - works closely with the offshore delivery and HR SPOC to ensure closure
  • Prepare and publish reports on HR solutions/various HR initiatives
  • Contribution to HR initiatives or project teams focused on increasing organisational effectiveness
  • Employee Relations, Disciplinary proceedings in accordance with the legislation and advising business on ER matters.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
Essential
  • Relevant experience in a similar role and industry.
  • Experience dealing with the full range of employee relation issues that arise within the life cycle of an employee is mandatory
  • Hands on experience in enablement and coaching managers.
  • Experience in working in multicultural, international business and working across multiple time zones.
  • Strong hands-on experience in using HRIS systems and MS Office
  • Tertiary Qualification
Preferred:
  • HR experience (preferably generalist). ER experience is desirable.
  • Experience in an ICT / Professional Services organization will be preferred
  • Strong Employee Relation experience in managing investigations and disciplinary measures within the framework of internal policy and local legislation
  • Strong Knowledge of Aus NZ specific ER practices and processes
Additional skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience working in diverse and multi-cultural environments
  • Experience managing stakeholders with confidence, flexibility and autonomy
  • Sound administration and organisation skills with a proactive, "can do" attitude
  • Capacity to multi-task and work autonomously
