Infosys is seeking a Technical Content Writer - This position's primary responsibility will be to create technical documentation as per the requirements of the engagement. The chosen candidate will assist in creating user assistance deliverables that enable users to deploy, administer, and use software, and/or coordinate the creation of these deliverables. The deliverables include, but are not limited to, terminology, UI texts, guides, multimedia, context-sensitive help, tutorials. Development and implementation of best practices for technical writing, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all documentation. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofDurham, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Content writing, Content design, Content management (WordPress or similar)
  • At least 1 year of experience in Content Writing & Content Design.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (DITA)
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
