Required Skills:

  • 5+ Years of experience in Python Development
  • Telecom OSS domain experience

Responsibilities:
As part of the Infosys team, your primary role would be extending for new features, managing, maintaining deploying, Automate and managing the ACS (Auto Configuration Server).
  • You will be configuring solution requirements on new products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives.
  • Work with team to provide better decision-making capabilities through analytics and reporting. Facilitates proactive upfront problem resolution while providing users insightful information on bandwidth utilization, allowing for more efficient networking.
  • Ability to manage Remote Gateways (RG), Set-top boxes (STBs) - protocol further allows for the autonomous manipulation of IP network-enabled devices, enabling capabilities such as maintenance and ongoing device configuration.
  • Allows for vendor-independent device management by supporting multi-vendor device strategies and integrating legacy non-TR-069/TR-369 systems. This is permitting users to better manage connected devices with less input, leading to more efficient operations.
  • You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
  • You will validate "go live" activities such as production verification to ensure that the application runs in the production environment without any issues.
Preferred:
Knowledge in FTTH/DOCSIS technologies.
  • Sound knowledge in Optical and Cable networks
  • Hands-on experience with automation and testing
  • Shell scripting, Development experience using Python/ JAVA etc.
  • Working experience in Remote management tools

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 115491.
