Our Support and Services team plays a crucial role in Illumio's success, from seamless deployments to fostering trusted partnerships with our clients. Joining our team means tackling meaningful challenges, protecting over one million workloads globally, and containing cyberattacks and ransomware before they escalate into disasters.

 As an application developer intern, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical applications that support our customers and internal teams. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and test new application features to enhance operational efficiency. 

• Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing internal tools and applications. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues. 

• Document technical processes and create user guides for developed applications. 

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. 

• Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards. 

• Learn and apply new technologies and tools as needed. 

Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelors Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in Winter 2025/Spring 2026. 

• Strong understanding of programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript. 

• Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Django, Node.js). 

• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). 

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• A passion for learning and continuous improvement. 

Compensation:

$ 30 USD
