Job Summary:

IGS CNG Services LLC is seeking a highly motivated RNG Compliance Analyst to join our growing CNG & Biogas division. In this role, you will be responsible for data integrity and compliance of our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) business. Other areas of responsibility include Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Program and Reporting Management, Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program and Reporting, and Renewable Identification Numbers (RIN) Program Management and Reporting Management and EPA compliance and reporting. The ideal candidate will posses organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and motivated by reporting deadlines. This role will also work closely with the CNG division and may include other tasks as assigned with the CNG division.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gain an understanding of how RNG is created and how environmental credit generation is achieved
  • Develop and Submit mandatory monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to regulatory agencies
  • Perform verification services and meet clean fuel program deadlines
  • Support biogas operations team with internal and external compliance audits
  • Manage renewable Identification Number (RIN) generation and transfers using the RFS EPA Moderated Transaction System (EMTS)
  • Provide updates on submissions status for reporting purposes
  • Develop new reporting templates and process improvements
  • Maintain EPA, QAP, and LCFS document folders
  • Help develop and execute strategies for data quality improvements
  • Understand the regulatory reporting requirements for projects
  • Track contracts and term agreements
  • Research and reporting of renewable energy markets and incentives
  • Other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills that drive efficient workflows and task completion.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build new relationships.
  • Ability to read large quantities of material and communicate pertinent information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced skill with Excel is required.
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time.

  • Able to adapt, grow and thrive in periods of uncertainty in an ever-changing work environment.
  • Energized by cross-functional collaboration to drive results.
  • Have a passion for renewable energy and environmental impact.
  • Ability to effectively interpret data and translate/communicate solutions and suggestions concisely.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Engineering, Environmental Studies or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years analytical experience; preferably in compliance, regulatory, and/or accounting
  • 1-3 years experience working in RNG preferred.
  • Notary Public (desired but not required)

Salary Range
$57,950.00 - $92,720.00
*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
