About the Role

iCapital is looking for an Analyst to join the Fund Finance team to focus on Private Capital Fund Accounting and Administration duties. This position will report to an Assistant Vice President and will work closely with cross-functional team members, vendors, and clients.

  • Provide operational review and control over third-party administrators and transfer agents with respect to the review of quarterly financial statement packages. This includes valuations, performance calculations, fee calculations, and expense accruals for a book of funds that includes over 200 Private Equity feeder funds.
  • Review management fee calculations to ensure they align to the governing documents of the funds.
  • Provide vendor management for third-party fund administrators and bank custodians.
  • Follow procedures for all processes performed within the Fund Finance Financial Statement Review team, including communications with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor IRR and MOIC calculations, create and review summary files, and research any issues.
  • Facilitate ad-hoc requests from various teams within the organization including fund data requests, investor requests, and client requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Strong organizational skills and solid attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to escalate and communicate effectively
  • Passion for the application of innovative technology

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
