About the role

iCapital is looking for a talented Fund Reporting Analyst / Associate to support its continued international expansion.  iCapital’s rapid growth in the European, Middle East and Asian marketplaces creates an opportunity to join a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment. The Compliance Department holds a pivotal role in bolstering the regulatory and governance operations of our investment firms. You will be primarily responsible for AIFMD Annex IV regulatory reporting of non-EU funds to EU Regulators, under national Private Placement Regime, oversighting Key Information Document (KID) production and MiFID Costs & Charges disclosures. The Fund Reporting Analyst / Associate will collaborate closely with fellow Compliance team members, Fund Finance department and external outsourcers, ensuring unwavering adherence to both regulatory mandates and internal protocols.

This person will be based in Lisbon reporting to a Senior Vice President, and within a Global Compliance Team of 34 members.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of AIFMD Annex IV and NPPR regulatory reporting of non-EU funds, KID’s production and MiFID Costs & Charges disclosures:
  • Collect and review relevant data from internal Fund Finance teams.
  • Liaise with external outsources and proactively solve any issues.
  • Ensure all annual and quarterly deadlines are met.
  • Keep track of national regulatory requirements in the EU countries where funds are registered.
  • Assistance across other Regulatory Reporting areas:
  • Maintain and update reporting logs.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the compliance team across various locations.
  • Support fellow team members with reporting tasks to ensure smooth operations.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Solid academic background. Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics or Management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Around 5 years of relevant work experience, even if training is provided when necessary.
  • Experience in Annex IV and NPPR reporting, KID’s production or MiFID Costs & Charges disclosures is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working with confidential information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills – proficiency in English required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
