iCapital is looking to hire a Corporate Finance Expense Accountant Associate / Assistant Vice President to join the Corporate Finance team. This role will mainly assist with monthly closing process and analyzing expenses, as well as assist in ongoing projects, enhancements, and process improvements. 

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll expenses, benefits expenses, operating expenses, etc.  
  • Prepare and perform analysis of monthly expense files (i.e. compensation & benefits, marketing, general and administrative and travel and entertainment expenses). 
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A team for budget verses actual purposes. 
  • Prepare monthly fluctuation analysis for all balance sheet and income statement transactions for above referenced expenses and related areas. 
  • Approve invoices within accounts payable system, Coupa, and review against budget for respective operating expenses assigned (i.e. benefits, marketing, G&A). 

Qualifications 

  • Degree in accounting is required 
  • 3-7 years of accounting experience, mix of public and private is preferred 
  • CPA license (achieved or actively pursuing) is preferred  
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment 
  • Willingness to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment 
  • Demonstrates ability and willingness to take on new, challenging assignments on an ad-hoc basis. 
  • Organized and detail oriented with big picture capability 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel  
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite and/or General Ledger systems is preferred 
  • Experience with Coupa and/or AP processing systems is preferred 
  • Able to manage large sets of data and implement checks and balances 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $140,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
