Your Role and Responsibilities
Identifying high-risk opportunities by leveraging available data points, and driving actions needed for improvement.
Traveling to key IBM locations across the US, supporting the Human Resources and business leaders from a labor-readiness perspective.
Advising leadership regarding risks and mitigation actions on upcoming projects and corporate initiatives

Designing and delivering labor-related enablement sessions for key stakeholders.
Displaying exceptional judgement and strong presence, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating effectively to influence key decision-makers.
This role also includes monitoring outside labor and political developments to effectively advise and influence strategic business decisions.
This is an in-office role in Armonk.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources, highlighting expertise as subject matter expert on US labor relations, and displaying a proven track-record of success in both union and non-union environments.
- At least 5 years of experience applying HR policy in an HR generalist role.
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex labor relations environments.
- At least 5 years of experience working with senior leaders in the business.
- Hybrid role. You will be expected to work from IBM Armonk at least 3 times a week.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Candidates with a background in Technology and/or manufacturing companies will be preferred.
