Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily activities of a distributed QA team
• Statement of Work(SOW) creation and management including timesheets and milestones
• Responsible for quality signoff, and releases on a scheduled cadence.
• Work closely with our engineering teams to deliver quality software in an Agile environment.
• Take ownership of defect tracking and resolution using Jira.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and ensure software quality meets their needs.
• Own and manage test automations, acceptance tests and regression tests.
• Perform all duties of a direct supervisor for each team member, including resource planning and one on ones
• Oversees long-term Information Technology strategy
• Provides guidance and support for day-to-day Information Technology activities
• Researches the future of the Information Technology landscape and opportunities
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software with a focus on testing the different layers of QA automation or management of the SDET resources handling this.
• Proficiency in at least 1 major programming language, preferably Typescript (e.g., Java, Python, Typescript)
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms, AWS services, and containerization (Docker,Podman)
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Mocha, Playwright), build and CI/CD tools (e.g., Github, Jenkins, Maven), for end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
