Test Equipment Technician

Your role and responsibilities

The Lab Technician in this role produces drawings, schematics, devices, or other output. Performs established tests or well-defined procedures, organizes data, and knows what degree of care and accuracy is required. Records and organizes technical data and assists in its evaluation. Receives generalized instructions from engineers, scientist, or specialists. Works from written procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, sketches, or oral instructions. Operates and adjust tools and equipment used in job assignment. Recognizes proper and improper operation of basic equipment and takes corrective action. Has specialized knowledge of engineering disciplines or physical sciences such as: electronics, logic, mechanics, hydraulics, plastics, metallurgy, ceramics and materials, design, layout, chemistry, physics, or mathematics. Knowledge would normally be obtained through formal training such as vocational training program, military technical schools, Associate degree programs, or other education programs. The employee leads technical support or the business processes.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
