Technical Sales - Power Systems Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure

Your role and responsibilities

Wir suchen Dich als Technical Sales Specialist (m/w/x) für unsere Power Plattform im Bereich IBM Infrastructure Sales mit einem interessanten und breiten Aufgabenspektrum.

In einem deutschlandweit aufgestellten Team entwickelst Du innovative Server-Infrastrukturlösungen für Deine Kunden in den unterschiedlichsten Branchen. Du erarbeitest Anforderungen, setzt diese in geeignete Technologien und Architekturen um, arbeitest Mehrwerte heraus und vertrittst diese in den verschiedenen Vertriebs- und Verhandlungsphasen. Bei Bedarf bindest Du dabei Skills und Ressourcen aus anderen Bereichen ein, ob national oder international, ob Forschung, Entwicklung, Software oder Services.

Dein Verantwortungsbereich umfasst die Durchführung von Briefings, Workshops, Demos, Proof of Concepts, Wirtschaftlichkeitsanalysen, Wettbewerbspositionierungen, Produkteinführungen und noch vieles mehr. Dabei arbeitest Du stets eng mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus Deinem Team und Sales sowie unseren Geschäftspartnern zusammen.

Fachlich lernst Du alle wichtigen Workloads, systemnahe Software und Hardware unserer IBM Power Server- und Cloud Plattform kennen, erarbeitest Dir aber einen speziellen Fokus auf den Wachstumsmarkt rund um Hybrid Cloud Architekturen, künstliche Intelligenz, Data Analytics und Container Technologien.

In Deiner Rolle als technischer Spezialist unterstützt Du außerdem bei der Aus- und Weiterbildung unserer Geschäftspartner, und erarbeitest Dir ein breites, tragfähiges, internationales Netzwerk innerhalb der IBM mit Produktentwicklung und -management und vertrittst dort die besonderen Anforderungen unserer Kunden.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Technisches Verständnis und Freude an der Arbeit mit neuen Technologien
• Solide Kenntnisse in Informationstechnologien
• Sehr gute analytisch-konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten
• Kommunikations- und Präsentationssicherheit in Deutsch und Englisch (mindestens C1)
• Hohe Lernbereitschaft
• Mobilität und Spaß an der Arbeit in (internationalen) Teams

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Erfahrungen in IT-Infrastruktur-Projekten
• Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Kunden und Geschäftspartnern
• Idealerweise erste Kenntnisse in Linux (Redhat, Suse), AI, Container-Technologien
• Programmiererfahrungen (z.B. Python, Java, ...)
