Your Role and Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Used ADMS tools and functionality to assess the power flow convergence of electric distribution circuits. He has extensive experience with OSI's ADMS but other leading ADMS vendors such as GE, ABB, and Schneider also.
- Having an electrical engineering degree from an accredited university program.
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for electric distribution networks.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Capable of identifying the issues in non-converging electric distribution circuits so the issues can be resolved by our team (if simple fix is needed) or AEP's Distribution team (if more than a simple fix is needed).
- Having good knowledge on ADMS/DMS, Power flow, Designing substation.
- Currently working on Attribute validation, Topology Validation, Power flow validation.
- Good Communication skills.
- Should be a good team player.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hands-on experience with power flow analytic tools, i.e., CYME, OSI Inc. distribution power flow
- Experience in GIS applications related to power network modelling
- Familiar with electric distribution network modelling.
