Your role and responsibilities
Demonstrates expertise in Salesforce Health and Life Science Industry Clouds. Has overall responsibility, oversight, governance and ownership of the technical solution. Oversees and advises on technical challenges presented to the project team and also advises on how to best leverage Out-of-Box functionality to meet requirements before considering a custom solution. Prepares and facilitates the techno-functional discovery and design sessions with the customer during the define phase of the project. As part of the define/design phase deliverables creates the Solution Design Document which is intended to be a roadmap for the development team to follow during the build phase. Throughout the project is available to review architecture and technical designs to ensure the best technical solution is being employed. Demonstrates expertise in agile, scrum and waterfall methods for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and validated system processes for Life Science companies.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Platform:
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce solutions
• Proven expertise in large-scale Salesforce implementations
• Salesforce Certifications (required): Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, OmniScript, Application Architect
• Strong knowledge and application of Health Cloud data models
• Experience in implementing HIPAA compliance and data security best practices
• Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules
• Experience with Omnistudio and Salesforce security models (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules)
• Ability to handle Large Data Volumes (LDV) efficiently
• Strong understanding of Apex and Integration Design Patterns
• Strong knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture (e.g., Platform Events)
Industry:
• At least 3+ year of experience in the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry
• Understanding of healthcare workflows, patient journeys, and compliance requirements (HIPAA, PHI data security, etc.)
• Familiarity with Provider Networks, Claims Processing, and Patient Journeys
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PHI, GxP, CSV, etc.)
Process:
• Expertise in Salesforce Multi-Org Strategy and Governance
• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket, Copado)
• Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and governor limits
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Experience in solution design, documentation, and technical leadership
• Background in Agile methodology, sprint planning, and user story development
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers and administrators
Preferred technical and professional experience
