Your Role and Responsibilities
- Global tax compliance management: Collaborating with global teams to ensure IBM complies with local and international tax regulations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, tax planning and collaborating in audits.
- Process optimization: Identifying opportunities for improvement within tax processes and working with cross-functional teams to implement them, including finance, legal, and operations departments.
- Tax reporting: preparing tax reports (cashpayment, tax provision, etc)
- Global communication: As part of a COE team, fluency in English is desirable for effective collaboration with global teams and delivering strategic support.
- This role requires technical expertise in taxes, understanding on accounting processes and their impact, and a strong ability to work in a collaborative, international environment

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Degree in Accounting is required
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in an international context.
- Expertise in direct taxes.
- Experience in managing tax compliance for multiple legal entities and understanding global tax regulations.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Preference for candidates with a background in the Big 4 tax firms or large multinational companies tax departments.
- Knowledge of tax regulations in multiple countries is highly valued
