Your Role and Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) is responsible for creating a positive candidate experience through operational excellence on activities to hire and onboard talent for IBM. The TAC must be organized while maintaining attention to detail, work effectively with a broad range of internal and external professionals, including candidates, possess great communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice.

The TAC must have the ability to meet ever changing recruiting procedural demands while ensuring that all business control standards are met through process compliance. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and work in a top recruiting organization.

The ideal candidate has experience working in teams and sharing responsibilities, has great communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills, has a proactive and responsible approach and has some experience within HR, Talent Acquisition, or similar areas. She/he has good time management skills with an ability to prioritize effectively and must be able to work independently and demonstrate assertiveness and the ability to liaise with professionals at all levels in the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the pre-offer and pre-employment checks in accordance with Global Employment Verification Standards
  • Manage the applicant flow within our applicant tracking system
  • Prepare and initiate case reviews with appropriate TA / Program focals to obtain approval or resolution to proceed to offer stage
  • Proactively communicate and follow up with candidates and hiring managers on status & necessary activities
  • Prepare and deliver offer letters
  • Ensure candidate status updates happen in a timely manner and are communicated to the hiring team
  • Provide advice and education to Recruiters or Hiring Teams on the offer processes and compliance
  • Identify process efficiencies and opportunities for improving the candidate or hiring manager experience
  • Ensure audit compliance
  • Meet/exceed key performance metrics to include stakeholder experiences, response times and quality
  • Perform other duties associated with support to the Talent Acquisition Team as directed by management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 2 years of operational experience with an HR or Talent Acquisition function
  • Intermediate or Advanced English and Brazilian Portuguese skills - written and oral
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong teaming skills and teamwork orientation
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate and diffuse conflict
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Quality Check knowledge and on Organizational Policies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Mid-level Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Knowledge of the end to end recruiting cycle
  • Experience handling pre-employment check proces
