Your role and responsibilities

IBM CIO is seeking a system administrator to support our US Federal SAP Ariba and Fieldglass applications. This position will be located in Research Triangle Park, NC, and will be responsible for technical support and maintenance of these new applications.

The successful candidate will use system administration skills and technical knowledge to support the business processes and daily operations of these systems. This role requires strong analytical skills in order to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the assigned business process area, participate in enhancement and release planning activities, execute testing, and ensure successful system functionality and user experience.

The system administrator will work closely with our CIO Platform Organization, as well as our Procurement Transformation organization, to deliver best practices and new function.

This role will have primary responsibility for maintaining and administering the following SAP product modules:

- Ariba Supplier Management, Sourcing & Contracts, Buying & Invoicing

- Fieldglass Contingent & Services

Required education

High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's Degree

  • Soft skills: Organization, Teamwork, Process mapping/documentation
  • Supply Chain / Procurement knowledge
  • Excel or DB Management
  • SAP Ariba S2C, P2P and Business Network configuration experience
  • SAP Fieldglass configuration experience

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
